AUTUMN TEA PARTY

Ellerslie Gift & Garden welcomes the pleasure of your company at our Autumn Tea Party.

Our 22nd annual celebration takes place from 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th, 2011. *

FUND RAISER

It also features a fund raiser for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton. Our wildlife compassion raffle features really appealing prizes, and all proceeds help support their work caring for orphaned, abandoned and injured wildlife.

SALUTE TO THE SEASON

No matter what kind of weather we experience during the spring and summer, we never fail to salute the fall at Ellerslie Gift & Garden. It has been a tradition here for 22 years.. We always embrace the golden glory of autumn. Such rich, lush and crisp colours cascade before us when mother nature captures the rapture of fall unfolding in unforgettable shades

A PLANT SOCIETY TEA

Some of our guests are surprised to discover the number of plant societies that exist in this region. Many of these societies will have exhibits at our tea party. Visit these displays to learn more about their products or services. Membership applications and brochures are usually also available. Individuals from these societies always join us to share a love of gardening and the culture of horticulture.

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS

Visit on your own or join your friends and family at our free, friendly and informal, rain or shine gathering. Although you will still be able to purchase meals, snacks and special refreshments at our coffee & bistro bar inside the gift shop, we do invite you to venture out to the courtyard to enter the tea house/greenhouse and sample complimentary tea or coffee, as well as the complimentary tarts, scones and squares that are always served at our autumn tea party.

ENTERTAINMENT

We love them. Our guests love them. They are good people and very good musicians.

So it gives us special pleasure to once again present the appealing and exuberant bluegrass music of Cabin Fever.

PLANT AND GIFT SHOP SALE

Although we don't have sales very often, we always have many items on sale during the tea party weekend. You'll find superb specials inside the gift shop and the tropical atrium, as well as in the courtyard and other outdoor areas.

WILDLIFE REHABILITATION SOCIETY OF EDMONTON

Like us, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton has been around for 22 years. Helping orphaned, abandoned and injured wildlife, (including both birds and mammals) takes enormous dedication. It also requires time, skill, knowledge, patience and money.

Donations are always welcome. Volunteers are always needed. Information is always available.

Ellerslie Gift & Garden has long been dedicated to nurturing nature. And in a different aspect of that realm, so have they! So learn more about the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton during our autumn tea party. Visit their display exhibit. Purchase raffle tickets to help raise funds. Ask for a copy of the wish list. Discover which birds and animals are most in need of help and why. Meet members of the organization and find out more about what kind of work they do and how it is done. They welcome your interest.
