Holds, Exchanges, Returns, and Warranty Policy
1. Hold Policy:
We will hold unpaid merchandise for up to 1 business day. Discounted or clearance merchandise is not eligible to be put on hold.
Products that have been selected and purchased will be placed in our holding area, and tagged as sold. We will hold purchased products for up to 14 days.
Live Plant Material:
Purchased potted plant material may be held for up to 7 days. Larger caliper (basketed) trees may be held for up to 14 days. After the hold period, an ongoing care fee will be applied.
Due to the perishable nature of fresh cut turf we do not accept holds on sod at our Garden Centres. Purchases are on a first-come first-serve basis as our sod arrives each day. Account holders may pre-order for pick-up by placing a request before 3pm the previous business day. Advance orders for delivery may be placed at any time, based on availability.
2. Exchange or Return Policy:
We will accept returns or exchanges on full price items - plants* within 7 days, hard goods within 14 days. All transactions will be accepted if conducted at the original purchase location, accompanied by the sales receipt, and if the product(s) is unused, unmarked, and in saleable condition. *Plants include potted trees, shrubs, and perennials. All annuals and tropicals are final sale.
Sod & Concrete Pallet Deposits:
Pallets to be returned in good, undamaged condition with the original receipt. Pallets will be accepted at any location to receive the deposit refund.
Ineligible for Refunds or Exchanges:
Sod, Delivered Items, Completed Services, Sprinkler Parts, Discounted Items, Custom Cut Materials, Special Orders, Developer or Builder Certificates.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Cards will not be replaced if altered, lost, stolen, or destroyed. Cards do not expire and remain valid until redeemed.
Holiday Season Merchandise
will be accepted for return or exchange within 14 days on regularly priced items. Christmas purchases are ineligible for return from Dec 20-31. Live cut plant materials are final sale.
3. Warranty Policy:
We provide a ONE year plant warranty on trees and shrubs that have been purchased at regular price, some exclusions apply.* *Warranty excludes cedars, annuals, perennials, aquatic / tropical plants, hanging baskets, bareroot, and any trial plants with hardiness zone outside our local range. These less hardy plants are tagged as such and identified at the time of purchase.
If you begin to notice issues with your plant, we ask that you contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance prior to removing your plant material. In some cases extended warranties may be granted. Customers will be required to present the original receipt proof of purchase to receive the warranty.
Trees, and shrubs that do not survive the first year from date of purchase can be exchanged for the same plant, or the customer may choose to receive a Plant Credit equal to the original purchase amount. This credit can be used towards any plant material but may not include any hard goods, landscape products, services, or deliveries. Any replacement plant(s) chosen with the plant credit are ineligible for warranty.
Warranty is void on plant material when the following applies:
• Improper Planting ◦ Refer to Tree Care & Warranty Card
• 3rd Party Damages
◦ Animals, Pests, Disease
◦ Winter Damage
◦ Vandalism or Equipment Damage
◦ Other Obvious External Causes
Plant Installs: Plant material installed by Classic Landscapes staff will be eligible for one calendar year, a one time replacement, if the following conditions are met:
• Plant material was originally purchased from Classic
• Service purchased at the time of original sale
• Full priced items only
*Customers should be aware that there may be additional charges if access conditions to perform services have changed from the time of original installation.
4. Myke Warranty:
Trees and shrubs* purchased at full price may have the warranty extended an additional 4 years when purchased with Myke Tree & Shrub. Refer to Myke Tree & Shrub Planting Guide (located in store) for all Myke extended warranty terms and conditions.
*Warranty exclusions are as stated above.
